Inspired by a photo a friend took of her granddaughter on Sylt. It touched me because it radiates so much smoothness and joie de vivre and reminds me of my own dreams of flying.
Since my childhood dates back quite far, I chose the colours in a retro style, i.e. somewhat muted.
The Painting has been featured in the Staff Picks of the London Artfinder Gallery for “International Woman’s Day 2023”.
The edges are painted, the painting can be hung without additional framing.
