A detailed painting of the Binnenalster, stylistically between Impressionism and Naturalism. As always, I was attracted by the reflections of the architecture in the water. But unlike the two previous pictures, this time I wanted to emphasise the clear, elegant classicist structures of the houses. Therefore, I painted the sky and water more discreetly, so that the picture as a whole appears lighter and more noble than its predecessors.
The painting fits into a modern as well as a classical ambience.
The edges are painted, the painting can be hung without additional framing
