Fog. That was my association after I had spread a residue of black gesso (chalk-based primer) with a fresh bottle of grey gesso on the canvas. On a trip two days ago with the HVV boats on the Elbe, my favourite boats caught my eye again: The tugboats, these little powerhouses. That’s how this picture of the tugboat in the fog came about.
The edges are black, the picture can be hung without additional framing.
The picture is covered with a layer of varnish to protect it from moisture.
My paintings are shipped in a cardboard with DHL, TNT or UPS and are insured for the value. If the shipping costs are lower than indicated, the difference will of course be refunded.
