Acrylic on canvas, 60 x 60 x 2 cm / 23,6 x 23,6 x 0,71″.
Because of the strong tides, the coast on the English Channel is protected by posts set into the sea, which protrude hugely from the sand at low tide. The twin pair looks delicate and fragile.
I was attracted by the many vertical lines that lend the picture calm and a clear structure. Only the wave in the middle of the picture breaks this grid.
The edges are painted, the painting can be hung without additional framing.
