A herd of horses gallops towards the viewer, who is himself looking out from the sea. The picture stands out because of the unusual cropping, which can make it seem abstract at first.
The horses seem wild, powerful and unbelievably alive to me – I want to express this by painting in an impressionist style.
The edges are painted, the painting can be hung without additional framing.
